Oracle De-install Utility

O Oracle Database agora tem um utilitário para desistalação completa do produto – que pode ser baixado a parte e sem custo, na mesma página onde são baixados os outros arquivos que fazem parte do Oracle Database: por exemplo, esta é a página de download para Linux x86-64: http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/database/enterprise-edition/downloads/112010-linx8664soft-100572.html

É impressionante ver que o desinstalador é baixado como um arquivo compactado de 135MB. Bem, se o RDBMs todo são alguns Gigabytes, é compreensível que o desistalador seja deste tamanho.

Veja na demonstração abaixo, a utilização é simples (basta indicar o ORACLE_HOME que será desistalado) e ele funcionou sem problemas.
